Hi, I’m Walt — a graphic designer, video editor, and motion graphics designer who’s built a career on adaptability, curiosity, re-invention, and crafting bold, emotionally resonant content that connects.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of teams in higher education - from large public universities to small private colleges - creating everything from animated ad campaigns and social videos to full-scale branding initiatives. I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of learning something new, whether it’s mastering new software, experimenting with a fresh format, or finding smarter ways to convey a message.

I currently lead video and motion content at Rider University, where I’ve helped shift the school’s creative direction toward a video-first approach. Since stepping into the role, I’ve produced and edited over 300 promotional videos across platforms - helping boost engagement, strengthen brand identity, and inspire prospective students and families. Collaborating with departments across campus has deepened my appreciation for thoughtful, cross-functional teamwork and the power of clear, emotional messaging.

Before Rider, I spent more than a decade at Paskill Stapleton & Lord, a higher-ed focused agency with an amazingly talented creative group, where I led projects for clients like Texas A&M, George Mason University, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. I wore a lot of hats - art director, designer, production manager, client liaison, and problem-solver - helping launch new services like motion graphics and responsive email campaigns that pushed both our agency and our clients forward.

Across all of it, what’s kept me going is the opportunity to keep learning - new tech, new media, new ways to communicate visually - and to guide others along the way. Whether I’m mentoring junior designers, directing an agency photo shoot, or building out an animation from scratch, I bring a mix of hands-on skill, creative leadership, and a deep understanding of what makes visual content resonate.
